Customer Experiences (updated 18/7/10)

Too many people are beyond the reach of traditional broadband and have had to suffer without what is a vital modern utility in the 21st Century; just as important as the phone line, and to many, even more so. Find out how BeyonDSL has impacted on our customers' lives.

Kevin from Yorkshire

“Until I installed the A2C system from BeyonDSL I could not get Broadband Internet at all. We are too far from the exchange and no terrestrial broadband company could help. We run the Game Farm and Shoot on the Jervaulx Estate and need to go online to buy supplies and equipment. It was impossible but today it is possible. For the first time I can access my bank account for online transactions. Paying bills by BACS rather than by cheques save us money.”

Jon from Berkshire

"We live in a very lovely area of Berkshire about 5 mins from the M4 motorway and 10 mins from Maidenhead town centre. Not what most people would call ‘cut-off’. So when we moved here 5 years ago we fully expected that the Broadband service, like electricity and water, would be easy to get. How wrong we were! We are situated right in the middle of three exchanges and about 8 miles from the nearest – a broadband ‘not-spot’.

After trying out a mobile broadband dongle we gave up. We could only get 2G. Both my wife and I work from home and we needed a solution as our Professional work had become a nightmare without high speed broadband. Once we installed the Astra2Connect system all our Broadband problems were solved.

We have found it a very reliable service. The package we went for is 2Mbps and so the speed is acceptable to us. Fortunately, now, our business lives are back to normal and even our daughter has stopped complaining now that, at long last, she can access the ‘real world’ of Facebook, MSN & myspace etc.!!"

Pamela from Hampshire

"We love it – it has transformed our lives."

Andy from his Black Bus in the Highlands

The Black Bus

"I live with Mel well away from the grid etc aboard our old bus... two years ago I took the plunge and dived into the world of hi-tech, buying a laptop and camera. For the first year or so I was using Dial-up and was satisfied with this, but as I continued my photography and started to make small films from here in the Scottish highlands... I started to find the limit to dial up.

I had heard of Satellite systems but to be honest I was worried about the cost and how complicated the whole thing would be to set up and run especially as we tend to move a fair bit. Well after much hunting around the net I finally came across BeyonDSL and I cannot recommend them highly enough; from buying the system to getting it up and running they have helped all the way. Even when my modem packed up, a new replacement was dispatched no cost and I was quickly up and running again.

So if you are thinking of getting a satellite system I urge to you to visit Beyondsl because if I can install and run it it must be easy."
