Different satellites and beams are used to provide the services in different areas. The equipment may be from Newtec or Gilat and the right equipment needs to be used for the right area.

In the satellite world, these different beams are known as "footprints". We use the name "Service Zone" to keep track of which equipment can be used for which service in which area.

Equipment which has been configured for one Service Zone cannot be moved into another Zone. You may be able to move within a Zone as long as you inform us first.

The latest Ka services are from ASTRA 2 at 28.2°E. If you require satellite TV as well, you will need a separate TV dish.

(If you want TV services as well as broadband from the same dish, you are restricted to the slower Ku services from 23.5°E).
