As you will have been informed and as is typical with satellite broadband services, in order to share out the connectivity we provide fairly across our entire user base, all our monthly packages feature speed steps. This means that as you use up more of your data allowance each month, the maximum - or "up to" - download and upload speeds available to you will decrease.

Speed steps are applied separately to your download and upload data allowances and have several levels, dependant on the amount of monthly data you've used up so far, before your account finally becomes blocked. Of course, you can purchase data top-ups (newer style GEN4 Ka accounts) or a data reset (current ValuePlus Ku or older style ValuePlus Ka accounts) at any time, should you wish.
