Installation Service

Our nationwide installation service will get you connected and online quickly, smoothly and reliably - typically within just a couple of weeks or so from the date of your order, We only use the UK's leading satellite broadband installation companies, so you can book your installation via us with confidence.

Once your order's been placed, you'll typically be contacted by our installation team within 72 hours to arrange a convenient date and time for installation of your equipment.

Unless otherwise arranged, we will ship the equipment direct to you as soon as your order is processed. You'll be sent tracking advice by email so you'll know when your equipment will arrive and you'll also be able to re-arrange delivery if required.

If your dish is to be mounted on a domestic premises, with a solid south-facing wall and a clear view of the southern sky, you can book a standard install straight away.

A standard installation covers a cable run of no more than 30m from the dish to the satmodem and installing the dish on a suitable south-facing wall needing no special access requirements, no higher than first storey and only needing one wall to be drilled. There may be extra costs if your location is difficult to get to or not on the UK mainland.

If the dish is to be mounted on a commercial premises, then a chargeable site survey will be required in advance of any installation.

Although our standard install uses a 60mm wall mount, there are many other types of mount available to cope with just about any installation requirements.

  • Bolted to a laid patio (Patio Mount)
  • Flat roof without drilling (NPRM)
  • Pointing back over a buillding (T&K Brackets)
  • Set into the ground (Ground Pole Mount)

If you're not sure if your site is suitable for a "standard install", you should inform the Installer when they call to book your install, if you haven't mentioned this on your order to us.

If you're sure what's required at your premises, you can select the appropriate mount type together with a professional installation once you have chosen your package here. You can change your options at any time before checkout.

If you want to organise installation yourself with a local specialist, you can find one here or even use your own expert if they have suitable experience. We recommend you only use Installers registered with the CAI and the RDI with a suitable qualification such as CAI+ with VSAT accreditation.

Finally, if you are technically minded, you can opt to install the equipment yourself. We have a "How to Install" video and online guide available. Please note that we do not provide telephone support for the installation process so if this is something you are not comfortable with, then we strongly recommend you go with a professional installation.
